Frequently Asked Question:
1.
What medical conditions qualify for this therapy group?
This group is for individuals living with a terminal illness – that means an advanced health condition that can't be cured and is expected to lead to death. While everyone's journey is unique, conditions that often qualify include advanced or metastatic cancers, severe heart, lung, kidney, or liver failure in their final stages, and progressive neurological conditions like ALS. Ultimately, what truly matters for joining is a medical prognosis indicating a limited life expectancy. This group is about offering a warm, supportive space as you navigate the unique challenges of living with such a prognosis.
